I have a button on my switchboard that brings up a report. I woudl
like to add three radio buttons below this. Depending on which
buttonwas pressed, the report would sort differently. I read this
post:

But I am not sure how to use this on the switchboard. I am a complete
noob with Access so any baby steps woudl be appreciated.

One approach would be to build your own "menu" form, rather than rely on the
built-in "switchboard". This would give you the kind of control over the
form that you'd need to add a "sort-by" choice on the form.
