get rid of space

i have a report with 3 phone number fields
phone1
phone2
phone3

if there is no phone 2 then it leaves a blank space    how can i get rid of
the blank space whene there is no phone 2

Use the "can shrink" property.

Set the can shrink property of the field and the Section where the field is
in to Yes
