Hello

I'm using a report to figure invoices to send to customers for billing.  I
have the data Grouped by Week and Customer.  I'm trying to figure out how to
get the report to put the Week dates (ie 10/17/05 thru 10/23/05) in a header
above each weekly grouping.

I figure there's got to be a way to do this.

What are your typical values for "Grouped by Week"? Is this a date or a week
number or what?

I meant the report groups the data by "Customer", then seperates the customer
data into a Weekly grouping.

I have the report seperate the data by Weeks, then Customers. What I can't
figure out how to do is get the Report to put the Week dates in the header.
So if I work for John Doe on 10/26/05 and 10/26/05 , I want the report to
have a header that says WEEK 10/24/05 thrue 10/30/05.  I need the report to
figure out what week number of the year the dates fall into then put  WEEK:
??/??/?? thru ??/??/?? in the header.

Does that make sense?????????  Can it be done????????

Thanks for any help.

Again, how are you grouping by week?

Grouping Week with a Date Value, ie 5/18/05.

Sorry for the confusion.  Really what I need to know is if Access can take
any date, let's say "5/18/05" and return the Week that day falls into format
like below:

Week of  Mon. 5/16/05 thru Sun. 5/22/05

So I have a Report that looks at all the dates from a table, then seperates
them into the weeks they fall into, and puts them under a heading format like
the example above.

So let's say below are Dates Worked for the table.
5/18/05, 5/19/05, 8/23/05, 8/24/05,8/27/05

Would like the report to look like this

Week of  Mon. 5/16/05 thru Sun. 5/22/05
  "Worked For"
 5/18/05     "Job Desription and Hours"
 5/19/05     "Job Desription and Hours"

Week of  Mon. 8/22/05 thru Sun. 8/28/05
  "Worked For"
  8/23/05    "Job Desription and Hours"
  8/24/05     "Job Desription and Hours"
  8/27/05     "Job Desription and Hours"

The Job Description, Hours and Worked For would come from the other values
in the table.

Hope this makes sense.  Thanks again for any help.

Ok, You can use the DateAdd("d", x, [DateField]) to add or subtract days.
The number of days (x) to add or subtract can relate to the
WeekDay([DateField]). This information allows you to calculate the Monday of
any date.
