How to keep the report footer on the same page?

Hi!

I am modifying a report in ac 97.

I added a report footer, and moved the page footer up to last session/group
footer area. However, when it prints, the report footer is on its own page,
even it is small enough to fit in the blank space left on the bottom part of
the previous page. Which property/setting that I have to adjust to make it
shows in the same page if space is not an issue?

Thanks!

The report footer always prints immediately after the last detail
record (or immediately under the last group footer if your report has
a group footer), and before the Page Footer.
If you moved the Page Footer up to the last group footer, then there
is no room on the page for the report footer. DECREASE the size of the
Page Footer so that there is room for the Report Footer. Also make
sure the  Bottom Margins leave room to print (File + Page Setup +
Margins).

Fred,

Thank you for your reply!

I moved every controls (as well as event procedure) in the Page Footer up to
the last group footer, then I did DECREASE the size of the Page Footer by
dragging its bottom edge up to its upper edge so that there is no gap in
there. I have also tried to set the page footer visible to false, but it did
not work. How do I delete a page footer?
BTW, I did change the margin from 0.5" to 0.005".

I found it.
It is in report property window, under Page Header line. Its value used to =
Not with rpt ftr. I changed it to =All Pages.
