I have created 2 cross tab reports.  I would now like to add one into the
other by using the subform wizard.  I tried this and I get an error.  Is it
that I can't have one within another report because both are run cross-tab
queries?  Is there any other way of combining them if I can't use the subform
feature?

This is a reports NG. Does this question pertain to subreports?
What do you mean by "combine"?

Well I have 2 reports.  Each one uses a cross-tab query as a control source.
One shows Construction amounts based on the the query and the other Equipment
amounts.  Instead of having the 2 reports I would like to have one that
outputs all the contruction amounts from the one report and right after
displays the equipment amounts.

I have opened one of these reports and used the subform query to add in the
other report but this gave me errors and the information from the other
report never appeared when previewed.

Is there a way to have both report as one report, thats what I meant by
combining.  Either by using a subreport in one of the reports or something
different?

Add the subreport to the main report's Report Footer section. I assume you
have entered the column headings into the crosstab's Column Headings
property.

Make sure that you don't have any values in the Link Master/Child
properties.
