I have converted the database made in access 2003 to access 97. It is simple
application with one report. Everything is working except for report won't
start. The message I get is "Run-time error 2121.... it contains data that
doesn't recognize".... (something like that).

So there is something in the report that it is not supported in access97.
How to find out what is it?

thx for replies

Did you set any conditional formatting?

That option only converts the file format.  There is no guarantee that the
app will function as there are numerous functions or features you might have
used in the A2K3 app that do not exist in A97.

Did you use the Decimal Data Type in the app perhaps?  A97 doesn't support
that.  Otherwise make a copy of the report and start modifying until you
find the culprit.
