I installed Windows XP SP2 about a week ago and today I
noticed that Access 2002 is very slow when trying to view
a design of a report.

Office XP Pro: Access 202 ver 10.6501.6714  (SP3)
Windows XP SP2

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this report based on a crosstab query? If so, Access has to run the query
in order to figure out what the field names are, even when you go to design
view.

If that is not the issue, work your way through the items in the Access
Performance FAQ by Tony Toews, at:
