I need to replicate and sync using the internet. Is there a resource
which will teach me how to do this?

The easiest method is to set up a VPN over the Internet and use
indirect replication.

You might think that the "Internet replication" provided by Jet
would be easier, but it requires IIS running on both ends to provide
FTP services, so is not really viable as far as I'm concerned.

Research "indirect replication" and that should tell you what you
need to know.
