Sync direction or initiation question?

We have an Access 2003 02/03 file format split database:  We have a single
desktop in the office and a traveling only laptop.  On the desktop the
frontend connects to a replica hub and the laptop uses another replica in
the exact same manner.  The laptop only comes in to connect to the lan and
sync.  The user synchronizes from the laptop to the replica hub on the
desktop.  My question is:  Does it matter which machine the sync is
initiated from?  Could I sync from the replica hub on the desktop to the
replica on the laptop.  Does either replica care?

A direct synch initiated from the Access UI is two-way, so, no it
doesn't matter.

The only consideration is conflict resolution, but since with Jet 4
all conflicts are reported at all replicas, it doesn't matter where
they are resolved. In Jet 3.5, conflicts were reported only in the
replica where they occurred, so you had to check for conflicts in
all replicas.

Thanks David.  I appreciate the advice.
