I am trying to fix a legacy application that uses pocket access
ADOCE

I noticed when sync conflicts arrise it was hard to find data / info
on em. With google groups archiving this, at least other people will
be able to find help on adoce synce error codes

Here is a list of ConflictDescCode number I have encountered so far.

"ConflictDescCode"
2 = The same record was updated by Pocket Access and the host
database.

5 = You cannot add or change a record because a related record is
required in Primary key table

5 = The changes you requested to the table were not successful because
they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or
relationship.  Change the data in the field or fields that contain
duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit
duplicate entries and try again.

9 = The mobile device tried to update an autoincrement field.

3 = Pocket Access updated a row which was deleted in the host
database.

I hope this helps

This really doesn't have anything to do with Jet replication, which
is the subject of this newsgroup.

Sorry about that, this was the closet match I found at the time, since
it is sync'ing with a Access db, which uses jet etc.

Sorry to post to the wrong place, no harm done, hopefully some good
has come of this...

Kind regards Brett
