Master changes when not in use

I have a contact database on my desktop computer. I keep a replica in
the Briefcase of my notebook computer.

Lately, I have noticed that every time I update the Briefcase, the
contact database is included in the files to be updated. It indicates
that the master has changed. This happens even when I have not used
Access since the last update.

Is that supposed to happen? Any ideas on what might be causing it?

Thanks,
Cliff Lewis

I can't answer your question. This newsgroup is dedicated to
programmatic use of Jet replication, and how Briefcase replication
works is something that most of us have never investigated.

Perhaps someone reading this who *does* have experience with it
could speak up.

Sorry to not be more helpful!
