I have a replicated database which after being synchronized has two records
(that I know of) that did not get updated in the Design Master. I have
tried using Access's (2003) replication menu to synchronize in addition to
the DAO code I wrote. I have tried synchronizing in both directions as well.

Any idea what caused this or how to fix the problem?

Thanks,

Sounds like the database could be corrupt. Check for any hidden conflict
tables.

I checked for any hidden conflict files and did not see them in either of
the mdb files (design master or replica). I also tried compacting and
repairing both files with no effect.

My get well plan is to discard the old design master and copy the replica
with the correct data to the server, and make it the design master. Then
create new replicas on each users desktop.

I was just lucky that we found the problem. There were no warnings or
messages to indicate the synchronization did not work correctly. Any
insight on this?

Thanks

Ok, never copy a replica. I would modify your plan a little and unreplicate
a replica first, then move it to the server and turn it back into a design
master and create new replicas from it.

As far as the problem, I can't say as I've never seen it.
