Hi, I manage a database with eight replicas across a WAN. Because I was
having so many problems running it from within Access 2000 I purchased a copy
of MS Develpoer 2000 and installed Replication Manager. My problem is quite
simply understanding fully how it works. I have searched the web for a simple
way of understanding it/setting it up. Can anyone either help out or point me
in the right direction for some easy to understand instructions. Thanks

Have a read of:

http://www.trigeminal.com/
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;190766
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/archive/winntas/tips/techrep/replmgr.mspx

Indirect replication is the way to go if your have connection issues, which
you sound like you are.
