Hello!

I've heard that it is possible to synchronize between JET 4.0 and SQL
Server 7.0/2000 databases, but I didn't find much information about
how exactly to proceed. Does anybody have papers or other information
about the subject?
Thanks a lot in advance.

Not on 2000 but Access 2002, but really with jet 4.0 sp8 you should be well
enough.

Here's an Access 2000 doc, but it's rather limited

Hello and thanks a lot for both links! :)

I tried that in our tests systems, and it worked, but still, I guess I
forgot something. We have a replicated SQL Server with lots of tables
and records, and also, on the second link you gave me it's said to
"Create a blank Access 2000 database, that will act as a aubscriber".
Should that MDB not already contain the same data as in the SQL Server
database or will SQL Server care for it?
There is a Snapshot successfully created under the publishers, and the
subscriber is said as "synchronizing". BTW, why does the subscription
name contain ":DSN" (after the remote server name) and the
SubscriptionDB is "DSN" ?

(sorry if I may use inprecise terms, but I'm very new with SQL Server)

That would be great if you could help me!
Thanks in advance,

Emmanuel Keller
