I keep getting the message that the maximum days of the retention period
has been exceeded and that the db is no longer usable for
replication.

This is fine, the db no longer is part of a replication group. It's the
one and only instance of the db, marked as the design master. I
have no problem not replicating it anymore, but:

How can I get rid of this message? It pops up everytime I open the db.

TIA
Rudi

You have to remove replication, in that case?
