Hi My query will output part numbers for labels in ascending order Depending on the number of labels Is it possible to incorporate a flag (***) when the part number changes i.e. 123 123 123 *** 456 456 *** 789 789 789 789 789 789 789 *** etc, regards, Garry Garry Your example seems to say you want to put the flag (***) on BEFORE the part number changes, not after. In a query, I can't think of a method that would work to do this unless you have some other field to specify the order of the identical part numbers. Again you need some field (or combination of fields) that can tell you that this "123" comes before that "123".
