how do i set up medical coverage for only 4 employees

nobody can tell you how to set up an entire database in this forum, Bree. if
you're not familiar with Access already, you need to study relational design
principles, and then learn how to use the software. we can help with
*specific* questions as you do both.

but if this really is an *Accounting* issue, you may want to check out some
off-the-shelf accounting software products. no point spending weeks to
months re-inventing the wheel if you can find what you need in a ready-made,
field-tested, reliable product, for maybe a few hundred bucks.
