I am fairly new to Access. I need to query for special characters in fields
of a table. I have been successful in querrying for & ^ ( ) ones that HL7
will not take for interfacing. I am trying to query for a - but it will not
work. I type "-" just as I did the above. Is there something different I need
to do to query this character? It is defined as a text field in the table.
Thanks much in advance!

This is how I currently have the query that works:Like "*&*" Or Like "*\*" Or
Like "*/*" Or Like "*~*" Or Like "*(*" Or Like "*)*" Or Like "*^*" Or Like
"*[*" Or Like "*]*"
