error window says "Microsoft Access couldn't find file 'system.mdw'  This is
required for startup."  I insert MS Office 2000 SR1 to let it look for it
there.....
No help.
Seems I remember these address files used to carry .mdb in their identity.

system.mdw is the default Security file which stores userID's and
passwords. It's normally found in C:\Windows\System or
C:\Windows\System32. Do a search on the CD and see if you can find it;
if so just copy it to the system folder appropriate for your OS.
