Merging multiple records

hello,

I am having some difficulties merging records together. I have a table
with this kind of data (extract of 5000+ records):

event    | F0
---------------------------
X00006    | NONE
X00007    | CROP
X00007    | RESD
X00007    | TREE
X00008    | RESD

As you can see, event X00007 spreads out over three records. I want to
merge the information in field F0 (CROP, RESD and TREE) together, like
this:

event    | F5
-------------------------------------------------
X00006    | NONE
X00007    | CROP, TREE, RESD
X00008    | RESD

Where all events only have one single record and one field containing
information. However, so far I've been unsuccesful. The only progress I
made is to get to this:

event    |F1         |F2        |F3       |F4
-------------------------------------------------------
X00006    |           |NONE      |    |
X00007    |           |          |         |RESD
X00007    |           |          |TREE     |
X00007    |CROP       |          |    |
X00008    |           |          |         |RESD

However, this layout is not what I desire because the events are still
spread over multiple records. I really hope someone can help me with a
query description of how I can get to a layout like in the second
table.
Thanx!
