Hi,

Sure.

   DoCmd.RunSQL "UPDATE tableName SET fieldName=444 WHERE
pk=FORMS!formName!ControlName "

is a possible solution which automatically recognize the syntax
FORMS!formName!ControlName as being a parameter to be picked up from the
said form, from the said control.
