Does each user have their own copy of the FE (preferably on their hard
drive, as opposed to on a server)?

Rio,
Did you have a separate, local copy of the FE on each user's PC, or were you
using a common copy of it on a server? The latter scheme is known to
eventually lead to corruptions, even though it may appear to be stable for a
while at first. In that case, just moving to a local FE scheme should be all
that's required.
To be honest, I don't know whether the VB FE would be more stable.

Does the FE contain any TEMP tables? If so, how do you plan to replicate
that functionality in a VB FE? I'm having a hard time envisioning a
forms-and-code-only FE becoming corrupt...
