I am in the process of creating a small database for a small company.  I am creating the database using Access XP, however I'm not sure what to do next as far as getting it ready for a multi-user environment.  I would say about 20 people at the most will be using this database.  If I put it on their server, will more than one person be able to access the records?  I am definately in need of some help in this area, can anyone give me a good source for finding out mor about this?

Hello Amy,

A very good site for implementations, performance, concurrency issues with
multiusers:

http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/

At the very minimum, you should review information in the above site re:
splitting the database. For 20 concurrent users, this is crucial.

You'll find an introductory overview presentation on the subject that I did
for my user group at http://appdevissues.tripod.com/downloads.htm. Then
you'll find the best collection of detailed information and links on the
subject at MVP Tony Toews' site http://www.granite.ab.ca/accsmstr.htm.
