XP and Access 2000

I have a multi user db with a front end for each user and
a back end for the tables. A new XP computer has just
started accessing the db and the back end keeps
corrupting, needing to be repaired.

On the XP box the jet dll version is 5.1.2600.0. Do I need
to change the version of the jet dll on my NT and 2000
machines? Or should I just change the XP box to 2000.

Any help would be appreciated

Make sure that *all* of the workstations are updated to the latest Jet SP level
(SP8). See the following page at Tony Toews' web site for some helpful

As for Jet updates, see (with Windows 2000, just go to Windows Update):
