Is it possible to put your back on on an internet server?

Is it also possible to put your back on an ftp server?

No.

No.

Those are both protocols other that Microsoft Networking.

Even if they did we strongly don't recommend folks to use an Access
backend over a WAN.  (Unless it's a 100 Mpbs or faster WAN in good
working order.)

A SQL Server backend on the Internet server might be usable if the
hosting company will allow you direct access.  Or maybe access via a
VPN.
