Hi

Using Acces 2003.  FE/BE split, 3 users.

I need to be able to create a datafile with the name and email address of
the recipient.  There will be anywhere up to 2000 records in the file.

Q: How can I produce a personalised email to each of these recipients (using
Outlook) without causing spamming problems / sending 2000 individual emails?

I am open to any suggestions as to another way around this.

Much appreciated
Michelle

hi,
here some links can help:

Re spam - if all 2000 recipients "subscribed" to your email - this will not
be a spam from your provider point of view, but junk mail filters still can
consider it as a spam, not sure you can control this

Are you suggesting that I create a file which contains the recipients, and
merge that with a Word document (to get the personalised part of the
criteria)?   Wouldn't this result in a say 2000 page document, each page
containing the single person's personalise letter?  How would I then
separate these and email them off?

Email them in .doc or convert to .pdf?  I am thinking .pdf

Have I misunderstood what you have meant?

Michelle

The trick is, that I would then have a 2000 page document which
