There are some server specific things to review at the Access
Performance FAQ page at
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/performancefaq.htm
One of them is if you have too many folders in the path of the back
end MDB. That is \\share_name\app_name\MDB_Backend.MDB is fine but
\\sharename\folder1\folder2\folder3\folder4\folder5\folder6\MDB_Backend.MDB
is not as good.
Another might be virus scanning on the server. Ensure that MDBs are
not scanned for viruses.
