How do I split my database into FE and BE?

I may seem to ask a very trivial question, but what is the way of splitting a
database into FE and BE?

The other thing which I need to know is how can I garantee that the data is
saved safely when two users enter the data simultaneously?
Can it be garanteed by setting on the option Service -> Options -> Others ->
Locking by default -> Modified record?

There is a database splitter wizard. Tools->Database Utilities->database
splitter
(this is for a2002, and a2003). some earlier versions the location is
different.

The above does not change if you split, or not split. When a user moves to
another record, or closes the form, the data is written to the file.

So, you don't need to be any more sure then you are now.
