Access 2003 Runtime and table deletion

I am building a front end / back end MDE application where most of the front
end (FE) workstations would be running using Access 2003 runtime.

I have a few tables that I would like to keep local (FE) for minor data
manipulations which will require SQL deletes to keep this table fresh.  My
concern is keeping the FE from growing and growing.  I don’t believe I can do
Compact on Close with a Runtime environment.

Would a drop table work any better?

Any ideas?

See the TempTables.MDB page at my website which illustrates how to use
a temporary MDB in your app.

Hi Tony,

Thanks!  I have spent a good deal of time searching what others have to say,
which led me to your web site and found a great deal of helpful ideas there.
Some problems I haven't even thought of yet.

I have added a class module that creates a temp database using ADOX and it
works like a charm. No FE bloating here!
