Hi
I'm using an old access 97 database that was provided with MSAccess
Runtime.  Most of the functions(forms, reports) of this database work with
the exception
of doing updates to the records.  Everytime that we tried to use this
"update" we get a "Run-time Error 2473".  I think this database is secured
with password becuase the extension of the databases are xxx.lma, xxxx.mdw.
Have no idea how to correct this problem?  We have tried to replicate the
database but no luck.  The installation of setup disk does not work under
Win2000 or WinXP. Appreciate anyone who can help me out, any suggestions out
there.  Here is the syntax on the error

Run-time Error 2473

The expression on open you entered as the event property
setting   produced an errro: Compile error

Possible Causes:
The expression doesn't result in the name of a
macro, the name of a user-defined function, or

Many times this can be fixed by compacting and/or repairing.  It is probably a
problem wih the backend database.
