I am thinking of producing a runtime Access DB application with a MySQL back
end.  Has anybody had any experience with this?  If so, what are the
pitfalls?

Thanks

What are you thinking of doing?   Plan on using Access as a front end,
like jsut forms and reports?  If just forms it might be better to just
use VB and MySQL.

I've read a few postings by folks who have done so but I don't recall
any specific problems.  You could try searching at groups.google.com
using the advanced search and restricting the newsgroups to *access*.

An alternative would be to use MSDE as it's free.
