820606 :  "When you try to close a form in an Access database, Access stops
responding. The form instantiates a class module that contains a WithEvents
procedure. The form also contains a Close event or an Unload event where the
class is set to equal Nothing."

If I have a form with events specified ( dbl click ) invokes a macro, and
the macro contains a close action with no type or object specified.... Is
that what they'te talking about ?

If I specify an Object Type    and  Object Name in the Close, will it fix
the freeze.

Any bets ?    Stay tuned

No, this is not what they are talking about.

That is a specific problem with Object Modules
which use the WithEvents key word.

But yes, specifying the type and name for 'Close' is a good idea.

NEWSFLASH

Well, the problem DOES manifest itself when event procedures are used in a
form with unspecified closes (such as leaving the X close button enabled).
And it goes away when "acForm" parameters are added !!!

So it wasn't what they were talking about, but it should have been !
Don't 'cha love 'em.
