Hello

Is it possible to show a list of currently open excel files that the user
can then choose from which one to import information?

Hi,

Hi Alex

I haven't worked with Objects before.
Can you let me know the process or point me to a place that can get me
started on what you are talking about here?

Thanks
David

Addendum

I have learnt a lot about Objects.
I still am having trouble seeing a list off all currently open Workbooks.

Also I would like to be able to grab a range out of the currently open
workbook without knowing the name.
What will happen is that the user will open an email attachment and in
access click an import buton to grab information from only that workbook.

Is this possible?

Hi,
yes, I think this is possible. Once you learn how to work with excel
automation - you will find how to do this

Thanks for pushing me.
I have really got into this and I have figured out my problem.
Still, issues, but I am learning a lot by playing around.
No dead-ends yet...
