Day based on the Date

Hi,
I am trying to create a table that has current date on first column and
a day based on the current date. Can someone please help me with this?

For Example:

Date             Day
11/01/2006    Wednesday

and so on.

Why waste disk space when a calculated field in a query will do.

DayName:=Weekdayname(Weekday([YourDateField]),False,vbSunday)
