Hi, I am working on an access app and need to capture still images from
a video source - eg webcam or video device connected to my computer's
video card.  I am assuming I can capture this image by using video for
windows apis?  I simply want a button on a form that saves the image to
disk in bmp or jpg format.  Has anyone got an example of this?

Thanks in advance, Ghostrider.

you cant do this with microsoft access 2003.

you must upgrade to microsoft access 2004:

Thanks for the reply Armando but I don't see why I can't use the video
for windows api's in earlier versions of access.  I don't want to
preview the image within access prior to capture, just trigger the
capture to a bmp file from an access button.  Surely I can just make
the appropriate api delcarations within an access module and call them
from my form - just like you can for other api's?
