Reason For Possible Corruption on Database

I have beening seeing possible corruption in my database and I don't know the
reason. Does anyone have a possible reason??

1) When I notice something of this when I edit a module, my "Declaration"
down down menu at the upper right side of the module code is gone.

2) I also notice when this happen, then I exit out of Access, the
Application will not close unless I kill the application using the task
manager. During this time, the CPU usage was somewhere in the 50%+ range.

The problem is gone if I create a new database and import everything over.

I happens every so offen.

Any suggestion what may be happening here??

I am using Access 200 with Win Xp Sp 2+

I have a white paper in a Word document named Fix Corrupt Access Database
towards the bottom this page:
http://www.rogersaccesslibrary.com/OtherLibraries.asp

Are these databases on a network drive? If so I suspect a network problem
like a bad switch, router, or even a network card (NIC) that can be on a
computer not even using the databases! I suggest that your network people run
a sniffer to look for bad packets and other problems. Access would be a good
network stress testing tool as if there is a weakness, Access seems to find
it.

The software are all on my local drive. No sharing.

Jerry had some good advice. One other thing I think I may have picked up from
your post is you may be editing code while the form is open in Form View. It
is best to have you form in design view and no other forms or reports open
while you are editing code.
