How do I set up a database

I need to set up a database, is there a program to do this, it is for
storing, contact details & telephone numbes.
If there is such a program can I get it free, or do's any-one have this
program that I can have.
please help me as this is important to me.

you're posting in an MS Access newsgroup, so presumably you have the MS
Access relational database software on your PC. see Duane's reply, and mine,
elsewhere in this thread.
