How do I set up a database

I am new to computing, I need to set up a database so that I can store
contact details and telephone numbers. is there a program that I can get, or
do'es any-one have a program that they would like to let me have.
please help as this is important.

You have the option of selecting an installed template when creating a new
Access database. One of these templates is "Contact Management".

Access comes with a ContactManagement template that you might want to take a
look at. if it doesn't suit your needs, you could take a look at the
templates available on Microsoft's website to see if they have anything you
want.
