I have Access 2003 and Access 97 installed on my PC.

I wish to upgrade the Access 97 databases to 2003.  For example sake, lets
say I have 1500 databases that need converting.

The acFileFormat  offers several options of formats:

Constant Value
acFileFormatAccess2  (2)
acFileFormatAccess2000  (9)
acFileFormatAccess2002  (10)
acFileFormatAccess95  (7)
acFileFormatAccess97  (8)

Excusing my ignorance, but where is acFileFormat2003 (11) in this list?

Why would I not want to convert my database to 2003?!

Are the 2002/2003 formats the same?!

There's no 2003 format, 2003 did not introduce any new format. In the 2003
documentation, the 2002 format is now referred to as 2002/2003 format.
