I have the following code written into an access module

Public Function RunExcel()
   Dim xl As Object
   Set xl = CreateObject("Excel.application")
   xl.workbooks.Open "G:\Sponsors\EOCMaster.xls"
   xl.Run "main"

End Function

I opens a particular spreadsheet and runs the macros inside. Currently you
have to actually run this module manually - i have tried the open module
action in macros but all that seems to do is open it - i want it to run the
module as well. So that i don't have to keep pressing the run button

Todd,

What you need is a RunCode action with argument RunExcel().

HTH,
Nikos
