I'm running an Access macro to update an Excel spreadsheet
using the Transfer Spreadsheet function. After executing
the macro, when I open up the spreadsheet, I get the
message: "File error: data may have been lost". I don't
believe any data was lost. Why is this happening?

I am getting the same error message though the situation is different.
what i have is an excel template with macros. its a VBA app. Now, till
some time back things were OK, now, what i notice is that when i make
any changes to my excel app, be it as simple as a variable declaration
i get the message File error data may have been lost.
Can someone enlighten about the possible causes and solutions of this
problem.

TIA
