Why does Excel name columns 1 > instead of A >

MS Excel!  Columns should be alphabetical and rows numerical. My MS Excel has
started naming the columns 1,2,3, etc. How did this happen?

suggest you post your question in an Excel newsgroup. this newsgroup is
devoted to questions about MS Access database software.

Check out the options settings; it's started using R1C1 references
instead of the commoner A1 style.
