Can one open a PDF file from a form such as a report? If so could you tell
me where to look to find the instructions on doing this.

You would need to use the Shell function to open a program such as Acrobat
Reader that can open PDF files and then use a parameter in the Shell
fiunction to specify what PDF file to open.

Thanks I'll look at the Shell functions. I'm also thinking about the map
images up as a graphic in a report with the record selected giving the path
to the image.
PDF was my second choice on how to do this.
