Hi,
I have splitted database named EQUIPMENT. (EQUIPMENT.mdb
and EQUIPMENT.be_mdb.)
I want to make a back up and put the back up database to
different location. I want the original database and the
backup database are not link together. It means when I
update the original one,the back up won't change anything.
Please show me how to do it.

Thank you
Loi

Make a backup of both the program and the split data.  Then open the backup
program and change the linked tables to point at the backup data location.
You will have to check the box to always prompt for new location in order to
browse to the backup data.

This way your backup program can be used to view the backup data.

Hope this helps.
