I cannot view old messages in an Outlook account after having purchased a new
computer. I know they are there because I see them on my old computer. Is
there a setting I should change to review the old messages?

This is a Microsoft Access newsgroup, not an Outlook newsgroup.
We answer questions about Access databases.
Please make sure you are reading a newsgroup before posting to it. That
will clue you in if the newsgroup is not related to your issue. You might
even try to search for your answer before posting a new thread.

Hi,
You probably have archived your old mail which means you will
have .pst files somewhere on your old PC that you will have to transfer to your
new one.
Do a search for *.pst on your old pc.
When you archive mail, you remove it from the server and transfer it
to your PC.

Microsoft's Help system has landed you in the wrong newsgroup: this
one is for the database program Microsoft Access.
Please use the dropdown box (the one that says "Access" by default)
to select a more appropriate newsgroup.
