Yesterday I posted this:

What happened to this site:
http://support.microsoft.com/

I used to go here, click on Newsgroups at the top, click on Windows,  XP,
choose a sub category and then post. It was simple. Where did it go?

I received two responses (and thanks to both) one directing me to this site:
http://communities2.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx

And the other advising me of the following:
Or look for Microsoft Newsgroups under Self Support Options on the left-hand
side of the page.

I don't see Self Support Options on the left hand side. I see Discussion
Groups Home and then the sub category of English. Under that is
Accessibility but the categories are really limited. Have the completely
done away with the newsgroups that used to be on support.msn? Thanks in
advance.

with.

My thought exactly Frank. I found the newsgroups easy to find and use. I'll
try the link you provided. Thanks!

My advice was with respect to http://support.microsoft.com/ not to the other
URL posted. If you go to http://support.microsoft.com/ you should see the
Self Support Options on the left-hand side.

Either one is going to take you to a similar site where you have the tree on
the left-hand side, one choice of which is English. When you pick English,
you should get a lot of options in addition to just Accessibility. Scroll
down to Office and select it. You'll get more choices, one of which is
Access.

Thank you Doug. I'm sure I'll find my way around. I just found the old forum
comfortable and easy. Don't know why it was necessary to change;-)

I see you used Outlook Express to post. Why would you care about the web
interface?

This was better before it was improved.
