I am creating a table.  I the "data type" i selected memo.  According to the
help section, this can be expanded to accept up to over 65,000 characters
through DAO.  Can someone please explain how to do this.  Thank you in
advance for your help.

When you select Memo as the datatype, it's already set up to accept 65000
characters. You don't need to do anything else.
