convert office pro 97 files

What kind of files? Access databases, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets...?
There are no such things as "Office Pro" files per se.

BUt to answer... yes, 2007 programs are backwards compatible and can read 97
databases and other documents. Most will need to be converted to a newer
format but the program can and will do so.
