I am very new to microsoft access and I am trying to make a database to track
information from my company.  To try to give a clear understanding of what I
am trying to do, I am trying to make a list of one thing.... If I choose
something from that list, I want it to bring up another list of things that
are completely assigned to the first list.  Can someone please help me with
this issue?  I hope that my question is understood.

example:

Primary list
Fruits
Vegetables

If I choose fruits from this list, the system will automatically bring up
oranges, apples, pears, etc which or on my second list instead of bringing up
tomatos or lettuce and so on.

Please help

Look up "cascading combos". There is plenty of info on this.
