I have been using Word 2002 for sometime. No changes in my computer. When
I open Word it goes to the start up page with the product # and then
freezes. I have tried to repair and removing and reinstall it still
freezes. Will buying the updated version correct this problem? It will not
let me reinstall I can not remove error message close Microsoft Word

Sorry, but this newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database
product that's part of Office Professional.

You'd be best off reposting your question to a newsgroup related to Word.
